Women's Residential Recovery Home

A Safe Place to Heal, Grow & Begin Again

At our Christ-centered recovery home, women find a safe and supportive space to overcome addiction, deepen their faith, and rebuild their lives with purpose.

We welcome up to 10 women into a structured, multi-phase program that nurtures spiritual growth, personal responsibility, and practical life skills—preparing each woman for lasting success beyond our doors.

What We Offer

Our program includes:

•  Faith-based curriculum from Adult & Teen Challenge USA (trusted for over 65 years across the U.S. and Canada)

•  Individualized study plans tailored to each woman's journey

•  Life skills training in:

  •    Healthy relationships & parenting

  •    Communication & conflict resolution

  •    Financial management

  •    Cooking, cleaning & home care

•  Daily structure with:

  •    Bible study & chapel

  •    Work therapy & group activities

  •    Classes & homework

  •    House guidelines that promote accountability

•  Career Training & Extended Support:

In the final phase of our program, women have the opportunity to pursue career training through a partnership with our local community college. Grant funded courses equip them with practical skills for employment and long-term stability. For those who choose to participate, we offer an extended stay at our center—providing continued support and accountability as they prepare to step confidently into their next chapter.

Program Timeline

Most women complete the program in 12-15 months, progressing through phases that offer increasing independence. In later stages, participants begin outside employment while continuing to live at the home—ensuring continued support and accountability.

Transitional Living Program

Graduates may apply to join our Transitional Program, offering independent living in our north wing apartments. Participants work full-time, follow an accountability plan, and reimburse living expenses based on their approved budget. They remain connected through chapel services, meals, and family activities—building a stronger foundation for long-term success.

Ready for a Fresh Start?

If you are a woman struggling with addiction or other life controlling issues and you are ready to get started in the freedom and new Life the Lord has for you, call us at 641-414-2999 Ext 2.

Jail Ministry

We are available for weekly services with women who are incarcerated at the Wayne and Appanoose County, Iowa and Putnam County, Missouri Jails, including Bible Study, discipleship, and encouragement.   We listen and speak truth to them with the love of God, offering hope for freedom from addictions and a new life in Jesus Christ.  We discuss their future plans and what steps they should consider next to make life reestablishment and permanent freedom a reality for them.  Each woman is given a Bible and a daily devotional book.

Mentoring/Discipleship

Based on individual needs and staff availability, this can include visitation to the Women’s Prison at Mitchellville (for those transferred to prison) or half-way houses, personal meetings, phone calls, and help finding needed additional resources, assistance, or treatment.

Biblical Counseling

We offer Biblical Counseling to individual women on a weekly basis. Consistently replacing wrong thought patterns with the truth of God’s Word while showing them God’s love can transform lives.
